This is not a high-pressure sales role. We are looking for someone who can listen carefully, build trust, communicate with kindness, and help families feel supported as they make an important decision for their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, personable, and highly detail-oriented Sales Consultant to meet with expectant families and new parents through virtual Zoom consultations. The right candidate will be able to create a calm, caring, and professional presence online, explain our doula services clearly, answer questions with empathy, and provide thorough follow-up until families are connected with the right doula support. This role requires strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, organization, and a genuine ability to connect with families. Core Responsibilities • Conduct warm, professional Zoom consultations with pregnant families and new parents. • Explain our doula services clearly and help families understand the support available to them. • Listen carefully to each family’s needs, concerns, preferences, and questions. • Build trust through kindness, patience, professionalism, and thoughtful communication. • Provide thorough follow-up after each consultation through calls, texts, and/or emails. • Guide families from consultation to signed contract and first payment. • Help ensure families are properly connected with the right doula. • Keep detailed notes, track next steps, and stay organized with each family. • Maintain consistent communication with the team regarding family needs and consultation updates. • Provide a high-touch, caring experience from the first conversation through onboarding. We also want to be transparent about the expectations for this role: Sales Expectations • This role includes approximately 30–35 qualified virtual consultations per week. • The goal is to close approximately 9–10 signed contracts per week. • Monthly target is approximately 40 signed contracts per month. • Target close rate is approximately 30% or higher from qualified consultations. • Strong follow-up is essential, as many families need time, reassurance, and detailed communication before making a decision. • The right candidate must be comfortable managing a high volume of consultations while still making each family feel cared for and supported. Compensation • Great base pay, depending on experience. • This role also includes a scaled commission structure based on the number of signed contracts completed each month. • Commission increases as contract volume increases. • Commission is paid on signed and paid contracts. • Strong performance and consistent follow-up are rewarded.
